Labourtech 2010: a conference on unions, working people and technology

May 14-16, 2010, Windsor Ontario

The second Canadian Labourtech conference took place at the University of Windsor May 14-16, 2010.

LabourTech 2010 was an opportunity for union staff and activists, social justice activists and progressive techies to come together and explore how we are using new technologies to strengthen and expand the labour movement in Canada and around the world.

The organizing committee linked Labourtech to the annual conference of the Canadian Association of Labour Media to expand our networks and benefit from the workshops offered at both conferences.

Working with CALM was fabulous. It broadened our movement, increased interaction among organizers, communicators and techies and provide new learning opportunities for all of us.
